Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Meridian OPC (“Meridian,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information through the Meridian employee operations system and its Gmail integration at meridianopc.com.
Information we collect
Meridian System stores employee account information provided by Meridian, operational and accounting records entered by authorized users, and business documents uploaded or scanned into the system.
When a user connects Gmail, we receive the connected Google email address, OAuth access and refresh tokens, token expiration information, and the permissions granted. We do not request permission to read, search, modify, or delete the user’s Gmail messages.
How Google user data is used
Google user data is used only to confirm that the connected Google email matches the email registered to the existing Meridian user and to send a JO email expressly initiated by that signed-in user. The sent message may include recipients, subject, message body, and the JO PDF package selected within Meridian System.
Meridian’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
What we do not do
- We do not read or download the user’s Gmail inbox.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising.
- We do not sell Google user data or OAuth credentials.
- We do not use Google user data to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
- We do not create another Meridian account when Gmail is connected.
Storage and security
OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and associated with the existing Meridian user ID. Access to Meridian System is restricted to authorized accounts. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, access controls, secure transport, backups, and monitoring to protect business and account information.
Sharing and disclosure
We disclose information only as necessary to operate Meridian System and deliver user-requested messages through Google, to trusted service providers acting on our behalf under appropriate safeguards, to protect the system and its users, or when required by law. We do not allow service providers to use Google user data for their own advertising or unrelated purposes.
Retention and deletion
Gmail connection information is retained while the user keeps Gmail connected. Disconnecting Gmail removes the stored OAuth connection from Meridian System and requests revocation from Google. Business records and sent-document audit information may be retained according to Meridian’s legal, accounting, security, and operational requirements.
A user may request access, correction, or deletion of applicable personal information by contacting us. Some business records may need to be retained where legally or operationally required.
User choices
Connecting Gmail is an explicit authorization action. Users may review Google’s consent screen before approving access and may disconnect Gmail from their Meridian profile or revoke access through their Google Account security settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service, applicable requirements, or our practices. The effective date shown above will be updated when material changes are published.
